ASKED QUESTIONS - VW CAMPER HIRE
Q:
Is there a mileage limit?
A: The first 1000 miles are free, thereafter the miles shall be charged
@ 15p/mile.
Q:
How fast do the campers go?
A: All the campers will cruise at 70mph but in their natural environment,
on country roads 60mph feels comfortable. Take it steady and enjoy the
journey.
Q:
Are they fitted with seatbelts?
A: All campers are fitted with 3 point seatbelts in the front, and 2
lap type seat-belts in the rear.
Q:
Do they have a heater?
A: All are fitted with the standard VW cab heater which gets hot when
on the move it's not very good when stationary.
Q:
How tall are the campers?
A: The campers are 2.2m tall, and quite often unable to pass under car-park
restriction barriers.
Q: Will I have to pay a deposit?
A: There is a booking deposit of £150 to be paid through the website,
this will secure you booking. See the Prices and Booking tab.
Q:
What happens if I bring the camper back late?
A: If campers are returned after the agreed time, there will be a surcharge.

Q:
Do they have a CD player?
A: Yes. All are fitted with CD players - with removable fronts.
Q:
Are they easy to drive?
A: The campers are left-hand drive with manual gearbox. Easy to drive.
Its worth saying, caution must be taken when overtaking.
Q:
Do you provide bedding & pillows?
A: This can be arranged but we do ask that you bring your own bedding/
sleeping bags and pillows where possible.

Where do I pick up my camper from?
A: VDUB Campers Ltd is based on the South Coast, Emsworth near the A27/A3.

Can I take the camper to Europe?
A: No. UK holidays only at the moment.
Q:
Do I need to book a campsite with electric hook-up?
A: No. Our campers are fitted with a leisure battery to enable you to
use the lights & music without draining the starting battery.
Q:
Do the camper vans have heaters?
A: Yes, we have now installed Propex thermostatically controlled gas
heaters to our campers (toasty!).
Q:
Can I leave my car with VDUB Campers?
A: Yes, off road parking is available, but vehicles are left at the
owners risk.
