Our bay window VW campers for hire are all USA imported 1978, 4-berth Westfalia's. These were the last of the original bay windows and in our opinion the best for camping.

We think once you have tasted the convenience and luxury of this camping experience, you will never stay in a tent again. How do you like the view from your new bedroom window?!

pop-top bed

The upstairs bed is 6ft in length and 4ft wide, plenty enough room for an adult couple to sleep comfortably.

rock and roll bed

The lower rock and roll bed measures 6ft x 3.5 ft.

all mod cons

The sink is plumbed into a 25l fresh water tank. There is a 2 ring gas burner fed by a 10l onboard propane tank and small under cabinet fridge unit.

The campers are all hired out with a standard camping kit (x 4 persons) which includes; melamine dinner plates, side plates, breakfast bowls, tumblers and mugs. Cutlery, chopping knives, serving spoons, bottle & can openers, pots and pans. And a whistle kettle for those all important brews!

plenty of storage

The cabinetry and the layout of these campers allow for a generous amount of storage space including a small wardrobe for hanging a few shirts and a large under seat storage facility.

All our VW campers have an additional leisure battery which powers the lighting, stereo and fridge unit. This allows a good 12 hours of continuous use of stereo and internal lights without draining the starting battery. However, the fridge will drain the battery at a much faster rate and is best turned on only to compliment bags of ice.

strong 2.0l engines

The engines in our buses are well maintained. They are all strong 2.0L injected engines which will give plenty of power when slogging up those hills in Devon and Cornwall!
